Financial help to enable young people to learn a new skill that will improve their job prospects – the Bursary Scheme

Bedford Training Holdings offers a Bursary Scheme designed to provide financial help and personal mentoring that will enable young people to access vocational training and employment. The scheme is particularly designed to improve the employment prospects of young people who would otherwise be disadvantaged due to their lack of skills or qualifications.

The Bursaries are available to unemployed young people who will be aged between 16 and eighteen on the first of September in the year in which they intend to start. The Bursary will pay for the costs of the training and provide a weekly allowance payment whilst they are on their course. Training will lead to a nationally recognised qualification and meet the minimum requirements of the appropriate Apprenticeship framework. All young people completing their programme will be helped to secure employment or find a continuation of their course.

The provider of the vocational training and education will normally be (but not limited to) Bedford Training Group Limited who pride themselves on delivering quality programmes and have for over thirty years assisted young people to both improve their skills and find employment.
